Nursing services
Our highly skilled nurses can deliver any care required, this includes, wound care, post-operative care, continence care, diabetes management, medication administration and management, palliative care, support for new mothers and medical travel companionship.
Palliative care
Our nurses and personal care workers have helped hundreds of Melbourne homecare clients pass away at home, surrounded by their kids and grandkids and their family and friends. With 75% of people expressing a desire to die at home and only 14% actually doing so, Colbrow Care can bridge the gap between the desire to die at home and services needed to do so.
After hospital care (post-acute care)
If you want to get out of hospital sooner but need a bit of extra help, Colbrow Care can be there. Our nurses can provide wound care whilst our personal care workers can assist with showering, grooming, meal preparation and cleaning while you are recuperating.
Respite for carers
It can be tough for those nearest to a sick or elderly person to be on call for them 24/7. Colbrow Care has dedicated personal care workers and nurses who can provide respite for those that care. Our respite services can be for as little as 1 hour per day, up to 24/7 and even live in care, everything is tailored for the individual’s needs.
Support for new mothers
As any new mother would say, adjusting to life with a new born baby who needs you all the time can be utterly exhausting and overwhelming. That’s why Colbrow Care have a pool of Registered Midwives available to ease the pressure from new mothers. Our Midwives can be there for as long or as little time as you need, even for overnight care for some rest much needed rest.
Disability support services
We offer disability support services for children and adults throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria and can assist for as little as 1 hour, up to 24/7 live in care, depending on the individual needs. We are accredited with TAC and WorkCover and also with the NDIS so whatever a client’s needs, we can help.
Help around the home
Cleaning the house can become too much for our clients and when it does, our domestic assistants will be happy to step in and help. Whether it’s mopping, vacuuming, dusting or all of the above, Colbrow’s staff can do the task, nothing is too big or too small.
Personal care services
Our personal care workers can assist with showering, grooming, meal preparation, shopping (either with or without the client), socialisation and companionship. Whatever personal care services are needed, Colbrow Care can help.
Aged care at home
Our personal care workers and domestic assistants provide our in home aged care clients with any service they require, including help with showering, meal preparation, cleaning, companionship, and accompaniment to appointments and socialisation activities.
Allied Health Services
Our home care clients might need physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition advice and planning, as well as nursing and personal care. We have access to the full range of allied health services needed to provide holistic home care to our clients.
Companionship, including medical companionship
We can pop in any time of the day for a chat and a cuppa for as long as our clients would like. If they would like to travel and need an extra hand with medical expertise, our nurses and/or personal care workers can provide that service.
Counselling services
As part of our unique service offering, we have access to an experienced counsellor who can assist clients and families who are dealing with stress, anxiety and grief.
