Veterans Overnight Care

Veterans holding a Gold Repatriation Health Card are eligible for our flexible overnight care services. These services are designed to ensure your safety and comfort at home when needed. Before commencing, a Colbrow Registered Nurse will conduct a clinical assessment to determine the type of care required. We understand that each veteran’s needs are unique, so we will work with you or your authorised representative to create a personalised care plan that suits your specific needs.

Types of Veterans Overnight Care

  • Inactive Care: In this type, the carer can sleep but will wake up and provide assistance as needed. A spare room with a bed for the carer is necessary.
  • Active Care: The carer remains awake for the entire visit, which can last up to a maximum of 12 hours.
