A typical day would see you interacting with a diverse range of clients each with their own story to tell. For some of them, you may be the only person they see that day, and you might just find yourself on the end of a bit of a chin wag and a cup of tea! Some clients are more challenging with complex care needs, forcing you to draw on all your knowledge, expertise and of course, your compassion. The common thread evident in each and every day is your provision of nursing care delivered with empathy, professionalism, kindness and dignity.

Registered nurses will have:

Bachelor of Nursing
Current AHPRA registration

Since you will be working with some of the most vulnerable members of society within their homes, you will also need or be willing to obtain the following:

  • Current Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Police Check)
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001)
  • Mandatory proficiencies (As required by Colbrow Care)
  • Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport preferred
